Tasting notes
Brouilly has very appealing aromas on the nose - Red fruits and red berries. Elegant and lively attack balanced by a good acidity and notes of fresh and juicy red fruits. Rond and long finish.

The soils of Beaujolais are divided into a northern and southern half, with the town of Villefranche-sur-Saône being in between. The northern half comprises of most of the Crus of Beaujolais with schist, granite and limestone based soils. The best plots are located on hillsides, with most of the granite and schist, leaving the lower slopes with more stone and clay. The southern half of the region has flatter land with richer, sandstone and clay based soils with some limestone patches.
