Tasting Notes
Mendtrida La Uvas de la Ira is a red wine from Spain with an aromatic expression of red fruits with a lovely concentration of red fresh berries. Elegant attack followed by notes of fruits, spices and dry tannins in the finish.
Spain
Castilla-La Mancha
Castilla-La Mancha wine region sits on the central Iberian Plateau of Spain. This area around the city of Madrid has an average elevation of 700m above sea level. Here climate characteristics are very harsh, which explain why vines are spaced and grown close to the ground. Airen grapes were long thrived to produce Brandy.

Extreme continental climate
Daniel Landi
The soils in Castilla-La Mancha are very homogenous throughout the region and tends to be flat. This wine region represents a vast expanse - the central Iberian plateau. The soils are based on red sandy clay, rich in limestone and chalk, but poor in organic material. The best vineyards are those with the highest limestone and chalk content in the sub-soil.
