Tasting Notes
A precise expression of apricot, peach with also aromas of pineapple and green apple in the background. Fruity, round and complex, with stone fruits and tropical fruits blended with lovely tones of minerality.
Italy
Piemonte
Piemonte in the north-west of Italy is Italy's finest wine region with almost half of the production under the DOCG status. Respected names like Barolo, Barbaresco, Moscato d'Asti, and Barbera d'Alba are the flagships of the region. Nebbiolo is the key grape variety of the region accounting for half of the total production.

Cool continental climate
Guidobono
The soils in Piemonte are influenced by their location within the mountain. The top of the hills are poor and essentially based on alluvial deposits. The lower part of the mountain is made up of clay-limestone soil with a variable proportion of sand, which often determines the degree of finesse in the wines. Piedmont sits at the foot of the Western Alps which encircle the best sites around the cities of Alba and Asti - made up with calcareous marl and sandstone.
