Rioja Reserva "Vina Tondonia" is a wonderful red wine with expression of cherry, blackcurrant, and ripe plum on the nose, and spices and cedar in the background. Rich, intense, and smooth attack, with notes of black fruits, followed by wonderful tannins, very long finish.

La Rioja and Navarra are wine region in northern Spain found in the Ebro river valley. Tempranillo is the flagship grape variety for the production of red wines. Both regions were awarded DO appellation in 1933. Thanks to investments in the wineries in Navarra, both regions are now shinning in the international market.

The soils in La Rioja and Navarra share common features like the soil composition - Alluvial, Ferruginous Clay, and Calcareous Clay. Rioja Alta sub-region is well known for its high-quality wines with vines thriving on calcareous clay soils. La Rioja is a fertile land in the Ebro river valley, which flows through the region from west to east, enclosed by two mountain ranges.
