Tenuta Ansitz Dornach
The soils in the Trentino / Alto Adige wine region are immersed in the Southern Limestone Alps. Alto Adige constitutes the northern half of this region with soils ranging from volcanic porphyry (Kaltern region) primitive rock soils composed of quartz and mica (Isarco Valley) to limestone and dolomite (Bassa Atesina) to sandy marl (Kurtatsch region). This large spectrum offers the perfect subsoils and soils to each grape variety cultivated here.
