Tasting Notes
Negroamaro Parnanio Biologico shows an aromatic expression of tea leaves, coffee, and tobacco on the nose, with leather and musk in the background. Intense, intriguing, and charming attack, followed by animal and herbal notes, over mellow tannins.
Italy
Puglia
Puglia is the "boot" of Italy. This wine region is located in the far southern-east of the country. The region is known for its production of fruit forward red wines. Primitivo and Negroamaro are the two most common grape variety in the area. This red-dominated wine region also produces great dessert wines.

Warm Mediterranean climate
Cantina Sampietrana
The soils in Puglia are influenced by their location at the extreme end of Italy. Here subsoils are based on Mesozoic limestone, marl, and residual deposits giving to the vines a terrific start. The Salento, and the Murge (a calcareous plateau) represent the top sites of the region where the soil is basically limestone, with a mixture of iron oxide that gives that red colour.
