An intense expression of peach, pear, spices, flowers, honey and caramel, with minerality in the background. Fresh, elegant, and balanced attack, with flavors of tree fruits and spices, over a long dry finish full of clean acidity.
Trentino / Alto Adige
Trentino / Alto Adige is the northernmost wine region of Italy, located in the foothills of the Alps. At the border with Austria, this region is best known for its white wines from Pinot Grigio, Pinot Bianco, Gewürztraminer, Chardonnay, and Müller-Thurgau. Here the mountain influences positively the quality of the production.
Cool to moderate continental climate
The soils in the Trentino / Alto Adige wine region are immersed in the Southern Limestone Alps. Trentino constitutes the southern half of this region around the city of Trento, with valleys formed by the Adige river and its tributaries where most of the vineyards lie. The gravelly and calcareous soils along the river are made up largely of alluvial and colluvial deposits, making the culture of vines viable.
