Tasting notes
Komokabras Albariño is a white wine opening with a powerful expression of lemon, pear, and apricot, with some aromas of grass in the background. Crunchy, yet rich attack with notes of wet stone, a nice blend of acidity and fruits, and a nice mineral finish.
Spain
Galicia / Asturias
Galicia and Asturias are wine regions of northern-west of Spain, also called Green Spain. Unlike the neighbour Asturias, winemaking has long been a tradition in Galicia. Albariño for zesty white wines in Rias Baixas and Mencia for aromatic red wines are the key grape varieties alongside rare indigenous grapes.
Moderate to warm maritime climate
Adega Entre os Ríos
The soils in Galicia / Asturia are located between the Atlantic coast, the Serra dos Ancares mountain, and Portugal to the south. Galicia is a well know wine making region of Spain, while Asturias might be better known for cider. The vineyard soils in Galicia range from granite in the Rías Baixas area to slate in the Valdeorras region. In Asturias, the soils are composed of slate.
