Etna Rosso is a volcanic wine with refined expression of red fruits and red berries, with herbal hints in the background. Complex, intense, yet charming attack, with deep notes of raspberry and cherry, with mellow tannins and a long finish.

Sicilia
Sicilia island is the most southerly region of Italy and also the biggest island in the Mediterranean Sea. The viticulture is under the influence of the Etna volcano. Red wines from Nero d'Avola are dark, rich, and fruit forward because of the warm climate with a typical mineral-rich intensity for the vineyards closer to the volcano (Etna DOC).

The soils in Sicilia result from the slow contraction of the sea lying between the land masses of Africa and Eurasia. This contraction pushed up limestone seabed to form the mountains and hills of Sicilia, where one can find vines. Hills of Sicilia are based on Tertiary clayey flysch, Tertiary calcareous rocks, limestone, and sandstone. The combination of calcareous, volcanic rocks, and schist offer a broad range to perfectly grow vines.
