Tasting notes
Burgenlandwhite is a light and refreshing white wine with aromas of citrus and white flowers on the nose. Light, clean and refreshing attack followed by lovely notes of lemon, lemongrass and apple. A clean finish with a very nice acidity.
Austria
Burgenland
Burgenland is a large wine-producing region on the eastern border of Austria with an unrivalled diversity. This region is renowned for the production of some of the world's finest white wines, but also for producing some of the richest and most full-bodied red wines in Austria using local indigenous varieties.

Moderate continental climate
Meinklang
The soils in Burgenland are constituted of a contrast between the chalk-based, steep slopes of the Leithaberg and the salty lakes and sandy soils on the more easterly Seewinkel. One can also find a different soil composition in Eisenberg in southern Burgenland, like unique layers of basalt in the Styrian town of Klöch, or limestone and clay in the Südsteiermark. This diversity of soils and microclimates allow the production of both, red and white wines.
