Alsace AOC Gewürztraminer "Cuvée Portrait” has a fragrant expression based on exotic fruits, like lychee, passion fruits with a lovely background of roses. Round, with lychee, tropical fruits, and spicy flavors, while being very warm and rich with the perfect hint of acidity.
Alsace is a wine region with strong Germanic influences located in north-east of France. For instance, Alsace is the only French wine region to predominately grow grapes commonly associated with German wines - Riesling and Gewurztraminer. A Grand Cru classification system exists in Alsace.
