“Alessandro Filippi produces intensely coloured, deeply mineral and extremely elegant wines.”
Soil Specificity
The soils in Veneto are rocky and majorly made up of alluvial soils. The region enjoys a protection from the harsh northern European climate by its location at the foothills of the Alps. The Adriatic coastal plains and river valleys are where Valpolicella, Amarone and Bardolino reds are produced. The soils are rocky, stony, pebbly and composed with alluvial based on chalk or volcanic origins, providing ideal conditions for growing the local grapes.

A Passionate Lineage
Vini di Luce is not an estate. Alessandro Filippi is the mind behind Vini di Luce, a dynamic company that provides support to producers during the conversion to organic or biodynamic of their vineyards. Born and bred in the Soave area, in 2015 Alessandro started a new project with the Soave “Magenta”. The idea is to produce wine made with grapes from the Castelcerino hill, one of the iconic crus of Soave - It is a classic expression of the Garganega grape, being one of the best Soave we came across in the last decade.
