“Elisabetta Foradori produces graceful, elegant, tasteful, sober and serious wines with always generous and sincere aromas.”
The soils in the Trentino / Alto Adige wine region are immersed in the Southern Limestone Alps. Trentino constitutes the southern half of this region around the city of Trento, with valleys formed by the Adige river and its tributaries where most of the vineyards lie. The gravelly and calcareous soils along the river are made up largely of alluvial and colluvial deposits, making the culture of vines viable.
A Passionate Lineage
Elisabetta Foradori is a family estate founded in 1901, located on the Campo Rotaliano, an alluvial plane nestled in the Dolomites mountains. It is difficult to describe Elisabetta Foradori without missing to transmit her determination, her passion and dedication. Just after graduating from oenological school in 1984 she took over the family estate, dedicating all her efforts to restore the Teroldego grape to its former glory. She converted the estate to biodynamic farming in 2002, and since then every gesture and every decision both in the vineyard and in the cellar are dictated by nature's rhythms and cycles.
