History / Ethos

Domaine Guion is a family estate created in the 50s gaining recognition for being a pioneer in practicing organic viticulture. The estate is certified organic since 1965, eco-certified and also respects the French charter “Nature and Progress”. Stéphane Guion took over from his father in 1994 and perpetuates the traditions. The domaine is located in the town of Benais, north of Bourgueil and extends over an area of 8,5 hectares, divided in 30 plots. All of Stéphane’s vines lie within the Bourgueil appellation, entered on the village of the same name, west of the city of Tours.
