“Sébastien Dupré and Guillaume Goujon want to highlights the diversity of the terroirs in the Côte de Brouilly appellation.”
Soil Specificity
The soils of Beaujolais are divided into a northern and southern half, with the town of Villefranche-sur-Saône being in between. The northern half comprises of most of the Crus of Beaujolais with schist, granite and limestone based soils. The best plots are located on hillsides, with most of the granite and schist, leaving the lower slopes with more stone and clay. The southern half of the region has flatter land with richer, sandstone and clay based soils with some limestone patches.

History / Ethos
Domaine Dupré Goujon is quite a new venture in the Côte de Brouilly appellation with the creation dating back to 2015. Sébastien Dupré and Guillaume Goujon are school friends with background in the wine industry and trainings around the world with cult winemakers. Their ambition is to respect their incredibly rich and complex soils to deliver wines with character and soul. Agro Ecology is also something very important for the pair and the domaine is now certified organic.
